Terms of Service

1. Service Description
Pipol ("we", "us", "our") operates pipolhr.com (the "Service"), a platform that allows businesses to create and manage career sites powered by Notion. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
2. Accounts
To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
3. Free Trial & Billing
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using premium features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose.
All payments are processed by our billing partner, Polar. By subscribing, you authorize Polar to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Post misleading or fraudulent job listings
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Use the Service to collect personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by Pipol and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create and publish through the Service (job listings, company profiles, etc.).
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to display and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Notion, Supabase, and Polar. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of third-party services.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with 30 days' notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pipol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pipol operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
